Here are the important dates, and we'll go from there:

Sept. 18 - 22nd Annual Pride in the Park Festival from 11am until 6pm
Sept. 20 - Perspectives on Autism from 6pm until 8pm
Sept. 22 - 1st Annual Square Dance with Foghorn String Band from 6pm until it finishes
And that brings us to the busiest day Downtown has seen in a while-
Sept. 24 - Downtown Living Tour from 10am until 5pm
Sept. 24 - Fired Up for a Cure from 9am until 3pm at the Roanoke Civic Center
Sept. 24 - Harvest Festival presented by Haley Toyota from 10am until 4pm
Sept. 24 - The Blue Ridge Rock & Ride from 8am until 9pm
And those aren't even all the happenings for Downtown on the 24th! Check out our calendar of events website here to see everything going on that weekend, and start making your plans!!!
On a lighter note, the City of Roanoke Public Works has been honored by the Salt Institute for its environmental consciousness and effective management in its storage of winter road salt. This is the 7th time they have been honored by this, and the City of Roanoke Public Works is one of only two Virginia localities to have won the award! Congrats everyone at the City of Roanoke Public Works and please keep up the great work!
Ok, I think we're pretty well caught up, but if I missed anything at all, please make a comment and let people know! We want everyone to get Downtown in the coming weeks, so if you haven't yet, this is the best couple weeks to do it!
